Restaurant bewertenThe portions here are generous. A woman I met two years ago couldn't stop talking about this place. The 1.5-mile walk to get here feels worthwhile, especially considering how large the servings are. I might have overindulged with the jerk dish, as it's usually quite spicy in the Caribbean, but it was definitely worth it. Overall, this is a fantastic value. We might come back before our trip is over!
I ordered roasted chicken served with potatoes and coleslaw, and it was very delicious. I would definitely return in a heartbeat! Our meal cost us about $20 USD per person, and all prices were listed in Cayman dollars. At the time of writing, the exchange rate was $1 CI to $1.25 USD, so diners paying in US dollars will find that they are effectively paying more than the menu prices. Additionally, it's worth noting that most establishments in the Cayman Islands automatically include a gratuity of around 15%, which is distributed among the entire staff. Customers can choose to add more based on their experience, which goes directly to their server.
The chicken is absolutely delicious! The cornbread is quite nice, and most of the sides are good too. However, the mashed potatoes and gravy are decent but not exceptional. Just a heads-up: the restaurant has recently changed some prices due to COVID-19 and global supply chain issues.
Five stars! excellent! healthy eating. great page and friendly service. will be back. coleslaw, kartoffeln, carrots. great portions and great worth.
Stopped there on the way to the airport! What a perfect end to a perfect trip! Best Jerk Chicken dinner with coleslaw, cornbread and perfect smiles all around. Tasted my son's rotisserie chicken as well and it tasted just as good!!! Congrats on doing things right.
