Barefoot Beach - George Town

Good to go during the quiet sea conditions. better if sargassum is not present. they must cross the waist water to go a small cliff to reach the stairs on the other side

Great snorkeling place for those with one or two hours experience under their belt already. the entrance is well marked with a public beach access sign. the beach is mostly sand and smoother rocks that makes a simple walk. the coral heads do not appear until they are about 100 meters away from the beach. most of them are short before they come to the wave breaks.

Beautiful beach on the north shore, would be nice if it wasn't for all müllslobs on the hiking trail (yes, we have picked up as much as we could) and all the müll on the beach. what a shame.

The place is beautiful for pictures, but for a tourist attraction it is left. no parking space, they have to knit the car on the side of the road.

Beautiful beach. There was a lot of sea grass like seaweed on shore but once you got out in the water there was great swimming. Calm waters and we saw some fish and a stingray! Beautiful!
