Restaurant bewertenWe were there recently to celebrate a birthday. We all enjoyed our food (2X fish & chips, pork chop, Le Quai mussels + appetizers: calamari & bruschetta) and all were excellent, the place's decoration is nice and trendy. I agree with the comments below that it is loud. The servers were very nice but I have to admit the service was extremely slow. It took nearly 45 minutes just to get our appetizers...The waiting staff apologized for the slowness and advised there was an issue in the kitchen. The food being good we wish to forget about the slow service. I would give it another try and hopefully that second time around the service will be a little faster.
We went with a group of family members to have a birthday dinner. We were there on a Friday night. It was very busy but we had reservations. Service was extremely slow - we had to ask a few times to see a menu to order food and this was after being seated for over half an hour. They have a good selection of wines and beers on tap. The atmosphere is mostly for people to gather and chat and nibble on food but mostly for drinks. We all had mussels and fries - they were very good and so were the fries.Would recommend but go as a group not as a couple - its not a romantic place.
The mussels are really good so as the atmosphere. My only critic is that the fries are too thin, hence they are too crispy, it's almost like there is no soft potatos at all when you eat them.
We spent over $75. on a meal for two. It was not that good. Nothing to write home about. We won't be back. Too expensive. The atmosphere is more of a bar type joint that serve finger foods. We had the steak and it was not good quality but expensive for nothing.
Well-prepared food, a good wine list and a pub-like atmosphere make this a great place for a business lunch. The menu is limited but should appeal to a variety of tastes.
