Wrekenton Chop Suey - Gateshead

Great dining experience overall. I have been a regular customer for years and have tried a variety of dishes on the menu, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I made the mistake of giving this restaurant another chance, but after waiting 1.5 hours for the delivery, I was disappointed to find that the food was so terrible that I ended up throwing it in the trash. The quality of the food was awful.

Been told that this is the best in Gateshead so I’ve tried it a few times to give it a chance. Each time the food gets worse. If this is the best in Gateshead I’d hate to try the others. How they get away with serving such disgusting food is a mystery. Simply awful

Absolutely shocking! Was told our order would be 1 hour and it was 2 hours before it got here. Part of the order was wrong and was practically cold when we got it. Never again.

Ordered meal at 6pm, rang at 8pm to be told that it had been delivered (it hadn’t)! Was told they’d send a fresh one and that didn’t materialise either. Not recommended at all!!
