We really enjoy the food here, very good quality and well prepared.

A visit to the New Year's Eve. In total, space was not packed, but the music was too loud. The restaurant does not have good acoustics to begin and loud music is currently increasing the noise level. It was very difficult to talk to my dining room companion. Also the lighting was VERY BRIGHT, so it feels like a Dennys or IHOP. The food was very good. I enjoyed the shrimps and grits. Shrimp was nicely grilled and the casting was very creamy! My companion had the pork stable and shaved about how tender and tasty it was. The chocolate broth tasted like Schokopudding with the lace. Not worth the calories. The service was significantly improved compared to previous visits. I understand that property and/or management have recently changed. Hopefully, the good food and the improved service are indications of even bigger things. Now just work on the ambience. I like to feel like I'm not in a warm, cozy environment anything bright and loud.

Only my second time at Herbs, and the service has been blah......from greeters to server (second visit) I had made an reservation noon for 6:30pm. We arrived at 6:25 and was told to take a seat that it would take 20 minutes........we were seated at 7:15. We eventually had 2 servers approach us for drinks. They actually sat a party of 2 before us so my husband made mention.......they ended up pulling them back and sat us at a completely different table. Love the food, love the music , love the atmosphere but the service is horrible!!!!

We went on a Saturday night at about 8 and where the ONLY table. The waitress and her trainee were very helpful with food selection, but the meal was just average. Cocktails were pretty good, but priced similar to other (busier) North Dallas restaurants. I would suggest using their big beautiful bar as a way to get people into the restaurant by having lower priced drinks. I guess for this area, it’s a pretty decent place, but I could definitely drive another 5-10 minutes and find better food... BUT, if you need a quite place to meet with friends for business... this is your place!
