Restaurant bewertenThe spicy Korean fried chicken is excellent. I like the pickled daikons, they provide some cooling with the spice. The other dishes are tasty as well.
I have been to several Bonchon restaurants in the last few years and everytime I'm disappointed. I believe this last visit to the Crofton location is my final attempt. The food was terrible. I ordered the soy garlic boneless wings and a side of kimchi. The wings had no garlic flavor, they tasted like bad frozen chicken bites with minimal sauce that had way too much salt. I love Korean food and kimchi is one of my favorites, the kimchi I received with my order was barely spicy and didn't taste like it was properly fermented. In short the food was terrible. The only bright spot was the cashier, the young man that assisted me was friendly and made sure my order was correct. The last gripe is there was no seating available I guess due to covid. I hope I just went on a bad day but from previous trips I think its just Bonchon isn't what it used to be.
This will be the last time I go to a Bon Chon. The last three times Ive gone to a bon chon I was disappointed. This particular restaurant is overpriced and had slow service. Almost a year half after covid prime time they still do not have dine in available. Because of the no dine in. Me and my wife ordered 20 boneless soy garlic wings as I didn't want to pick real wings in the car, and one container of kimchi. 33 dollars and 25 minutes later in a empty restaurant I was let down by subpar food. I was starving and food still tasted bad. The kimchi was the worse I ever had anywhere, and the wings were basically all breading. It reminded me of boneless KFC with a sauce quickly shaken all over the chicken in closed take out box. The sauce was hardly garlic in flavor and basically all salty soy. The only plus and the reason for two stars is the cashier was very personable and friendly. If you want real Korean fried chicken I highly recommend you check out a BB.Q restaurant instead and be amazed at what you were missing.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered tenders and garlic fries. The fries were so delicious that I ended up eating them first and got quite full since they gave me a generous portion! I heated up the chicken the next day (I couldn't resist trying a bite the day I got it) and it was just as good as it was on the first day. I've never experienced chicken that tastes this great even after reheating.
This was way over priced, avoid this place. I thought it would be really awesome food, and that is why I decided to pay, although when I got home , found it was a small portion and only decent taste.
