Restaurant bewertenIf you travel I-77, this place is approx. 12 minutes from the Interstate, but well worth the ride. You have menu items and a buffet. If you had a stomach bypass, they will only charge you children's price for the buffet. They have salad bar, southern style dishes on the main buffet, soup bar and dessert bar. The service was exceptional. Very friendly staff. We were from the city and they provided valuable interesting information about events and attractions (like the massive Labor Day Hillsville Flea Market). The dining room was well furnished, so easy to navigate between the islands of tables for return trips to the buffet.
I love it!!! It's been years since I was little and my family and I would go here to eat all the time when I was a kid when it was called something else. I finally went back and it hasn't changed since its reopening. HOT BUTTERY Steak roles are like a memory. Great salad bar, the beaten soft ice cream. Potatoes and Mac and cheese were excellent. Nothing served Bland. All I tried was seasoned to perfection. I was very happy. I will definitely be much more
Great south buffet. The fried chicken with some of the best I got on such buffets. Salad bar looked quite wonderful except for the salad that had not eaten as fast as it had to be. The service was really great and the potatoes and the green beans and sweet potatoes were delicious.
I drive 35 miles every time. We always get the buffet that is wonderful. My darling is the cabbage. Sweet with a hint of red pepper spices. They also have daily specialties during the week. This week there were two burgers and pommes for $5. Friendly staff and plenty of food.
It's OK, some good food 1 day next day not so good. We were in town for a few days and went here 3 time. The peach cobbler was very good. Restaurant was clean and waitresses were nice and very efficient. Could use some new carpet or flooring.
