Restaurant bewertenThis place is in middle of no where (death Valley and based on that my expectations were low. I do not like steaks and half of my family is vegetarian so imagine having a steak house as an only option for dinner. And now add 4 kids under 10 and think again : . We all loved this place because they served kid friendly food and were accommodating and not snooty like some other nicer steakhouses. They even had some great vegetarian options. May not have the best steaks in the world but certainly is mindful of people who don't just eat steaks
Very friendly staff despite challenging circumstances (it was 120F today with power outages). That earned the stars. The food was very disappointing, even the bread was old. I would have understood if it was $7-9 or so, but at $27pp it is a rip-off. Future customers, be warned.
I ate there with the family. $26 each for buffet which worth in normal conditions $10. The food was C+ at best, Definitely wasn't worth the money they charge but we didn't have a choice, so people I strongly recommend looking for alternative solutions.
Ate here for breakfast. I guess because they are so isolated, they don't feel like they need to put any effort into their service or their food. Bacon was almost raw. French toast was hard. Biscuits were also hard dry. If someone chooses to be in the food service industry, they should try to do their best rather than just get by. Restaurant at Stove Pipe Wells was much better.
Ate here while staying at the Furnace Creek Inn. There was a $25 buffet for dinner. It was the WORST buffet we've ever had. It was so bad we were beyond mad we were roaring with laughter! You have to see the attached pictures to believe it. My advice: ask to see the buffet before eating there.
