Spelunker's Frozen Custard And Cavern Burgers

This place has the best burgers I've ever had. In and out can not hold a candle on it and Jack in the Boxburgers pale in comparison. Your offers are tasty and juicy. Do not let the young staff fool you, they are friendly and on point. Although the journey through the line looks long, I have never waited for my order for more than four or five minutes. After the discovery of this facility, I converted 5 of my friends here to the burgers. You can find succulent burgers, crispy pommes and delicious Custard in Front Royal.

First time visiting and ordered for the 3 of us. Ordered 1 cavern single combo, 1 cavern double combo, and 1 kids combo. The raw cut fries were great and plenty of them. The burgers were delicious but very greasy. For desert the kids meal comes with a frozen custard (which was a generous portion for our little guy) which he wanted the Special of the Day, Caramel Apple. After taste testing it ourselves (it was great) he devoured it. Vanilla custard swirled with caramel and chunks of apple and nuts. We also ordered a Single Scoop Vanilla Waffle cone to split between the two of us. After the meal a single scoop was more than enough. I would definitely recommend, but come with a big appetite.

Omg amazing. The burgers are juicy and taste amazing. The frozen custard is the best around. I drive 30 minutes just to get this amazing burger.

Oh my God! This drive-through burger joint had the best burgers I’ve had since I came to America six years ago. We stopped here due to a very clever roadside advert saying they are located just beyond the McDonald’s! The frozen custard is superb as well, so if you are super hungry do a burger followed by the custard. The staff were friendly and the photographs tell the rest of the story, enjoy. We might go back to Front Royal just to visit Sperlunkers!

Best place to eat in Front Royal!!! They have something for everyone here, from burgers chicken to delicious veggie subs and hand dipped milkshakes. Please give this place a try; you will not be disappointed!!
