Restaurant bewertenGreat place for lunch or dinner. Enjoy their salads and salmon very much. The restaurant has a good energy and it is pleasant to sit outside and watch the Friday Harbor crowds.
I got the lamb burger based on the staff recommendation and it was fantastic. My wife got the mussels and they were good with a generous portion and tasty sauce. Lots of other good looking items on the menu.
Had the mussels which were excellent! It’s hard to go wrong with mussels though, just add delicious broth. Came with big Texas toast style bread for dipping. Servers were friendly and attentive. The patio is small but has a nice little view to the water. Be mindful of the ferry schedule, this is only one of a few restaurants in the area which all fill up very quickly when a few hundred people arrive at the same time. Great little spot to visit when you’re on the island.
Cod Fish Chips with a side of clam chowder. Fish was nice thick and flaky and was cooked just right. Clam chowder was good but had more veggies then clam but still had a good taste and was a good take on the traditional chowder.
When we arrived it was mid afternoon not meal time . We were seated outdoors immediately but then we sat there and watched servers walk past us and no one acknowledged us. Other tables experienced the same. Finally someone came after several minutes. We ordered. Food was good but server again disappeared. We would have ordered dessert but they never asked and never came back. We were just done. Great view of the Harbor from the porch outdoor dining area. It did not appear to be short staff just staff that was not very motivated to serve you!
