Restaurant bewertenDecided last minute to go out to Lakes 23. Service was a little slow but very friendly. Side salads were perfectly sized with the meal. My wife’s New York strip was cooked exactly to her liking. My salmon was excellent. Prices not too bad for the quality. Recommended.
We stumbled across this searching google for a restaurant near The Shack where we were staying. This is so goo, you should go. We have steak and prime rib, side dishes were roasted potatoes, garlic sautéed spinach, au gratin potatos, carrot cake for dessert. Amazing drinks. And the view was spectacular as the sun was setting and its Ray’s splashed across the changing colored leaves of the trees on the lake. Go eat there and ask for a window seat.
Although we didn't have a reservation, it didn't impact our seating or service at all. The food was fantastic—the walleye was cooked to perfection and the grilled asparagus was equally excellent. Every dish we tried was delicious. Our service was outstanding, and as someone who is soy intolerant, I was pleased to find that this restaurant had very few options containing soybean oil or soy. We had a delightful experience with stunning views—definitely a hidden gem!
We had dinner with another couple, and when we arrived at 6 PM, there were only two tables occupied, though more guests arrived later. I had made a reservation on the website and was informed that someone would contact me to confirm, but unfortunately, no one followed up. I ordered a salad, and they were very accommodating with my requests to change the type of cheese and add chicken. However, I didn't enjoy the margarita and ended up not drinking it. The waiter and waitress worked well together as a team, but neither of them offered to replace the drink. On a positive note, the presentation of the food was lovely. The black rice had a bit of a spicy kick, but the chicken was quite good.
The dining room was lovely, offering a wonderful view of two lakes and sections of the golf course. The service was quick and courteous. The brisket was cooked to perfection—moist and tender enough to be easily pulled apart with a fork. However, my wife's gnocchi had a bit too much spice for her liking. Overall, the prices were quite reasonable.
