Canon's Cross Pub - Fredericton

I cannot begin to count the amount of times I have eaten here with family, extended family and always chose when I have special events as a place to bring participants and friends thereafter (I teach martial arts-hobby). I have never had a bad experience at Canon’s Cross. They have always accommodated any reservations I have made to where I even want to sit with a group.The staffs are always amazing and the food is always consistent. Salads are fantastic and the rest of the menu is great. We have gone on occasional Saturday and Sunday mornings when a little too lazy to cook and this is also consistent. Special are creative and great as well. The Fort Nashwaak Motel is an old motel, the restaurant could use a little upgrade but the food makes you forget. I still prefer this spot based on all of the above vs the downtown location. I was forces to pick a date of visit for this review however this was not my only visit...:-)I could have also picked Couples, Family, Friends & Business.

Like the title states used to be the best wings in town. Now there wings are cold and soggy. I personally found that the quality of the wings on wing night have severely degraded. I used to go there often with friends and we all agreed that wings on wing night are just terrible and we won't be returning.

Food tastes wonderful and the service was even better!! Emily was my server and she was a delight. Cannot wait to go back!

Just had dinner at Cannons and it was delicious. Food was served fast and hot and the server (Monica) was great. Very funny and on point with her service. Ask for Monica's section if you go!! Thanks for everything and we will be back.

Hadn't ate here before so decided to give it a try. It was alright going in, we asked to sit in a booth and the waitress said as long as we didn't mind a wet table go for it...well she had just washed the table off and it was soaked and didn't even offer to dry it, just sat our menus and utensils on top of the wet tabletop and took our drink order. When the drinks came I immediately sent my son's milk back as there looked to be gravy caked to the inside of the glass (she tried to pick it off the outside of the glass before going to get a new one) and then made the comment that she got him a brand new glass of milk just for him (I'm hoping she did and didn't just pour it into a different cup). We ordered our food and I ordered a drink but she turned and walked away before my husband got a chance to order his (we waited until she came back with the condiments for him to order his).. Whene back with our drinks my cocktail had black flecks floating in it! I took me 10 minutes to flag her down to ask for another one, and when she brought me my drink back it wasn't even the cocktail I had ordered Our food was good tho! But when we were paying the bill she made some rude comments about weather or not she should trust us to give her the correct amount (we paid cash) or if she should count it...ummm very awkward situation and why not just count the money rather than making unnecessary comments. Anyways....the food was good but everything else was fair from pleasant and we most likely will not be returning.
