Hilmy Cellars Vineyards, Winery Tasting Room

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Laid back and honest about their wines.

We made a reservation at Hilmy on our way back to Austin from hiking Enchanted Rock. We did the winemaker’s tasting (red and white wines). The bartender was so knowledgeable and let us take our time. The entire staff was welcoming, kind, and fun. We will definitely be back and ended up buying 2 bottles to take home.

Hilmy has some of the best wine in the Texas Hill Country. Coupling that with the BEAUTIFUL views, makes Hilmy a must-stop, when in the Johnson City/Fredericksburg area. There was a fantastic picnic, with some phenomenal music by Forrest Weiss, to celebrate Mother's Day, and we couldn't have had a better time!

Hilmy is one of our go to wineries when visiting Fredericksburg. My daughter and I spent Mother's Day here. We enjoyed the Sparkling Rose with our picnic lunch of meats and cheeses in a cute picnic basket. The Asian Dumpling Food Truck was a plus! Great music and everyone around us was having lots of fun.
