Restaurant bewertenVery relaxing atmosphere served up by very nice staff, great wining and dining in Prato, definitely recommended.
Great food in a great place ,with a great staff. What else can you ask for ? We came on a Saturday evening without a reservation (and our dog) and the very friendly staff managed to accommodate us with a table. Service and food was just perfect.
We went for our wedding anniversary evening but mostly to enjoy a traditional Italian Osteria which, by the definition of “Osteria” Le Stalle is not. It is more of a “radical chic” restaurant more suited to a city for pretentious fine dining rather than a mountain town. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and yes, the portions of food that come out are well presented and some are tasty. We were provided with the chef’s entrée. It was fine. I had a ragu which absolutely was far from any traditional Italian ragu as traditional Italian ragus do not have nearly fresh tomatoes on top, nor have a taste of vinaigrette. I couldn’t understand the meanness of the portion size either. Pasta is not an expensive food! The “main course” was lamb which was clearly a micro lamb as the two tiny pieces weren’t worth talking about. The dish was also to include potatoes which none were seen. The piece of spinach came up with one jab of my fork and the accompanying egg plant was only one slice of one plant. We filled up on bread and didn’t want to bother with dessert as we joked – it might just be one tiny teaspoon of something in a big bowl! After a day’s activity of hiking or skiing, this is the last restaurant you want to replenish your energy reserves in! I’ve seen bars offer more volume of food for an aperitivo. Either eat before or have something lined up afterwards which we did from our table by organising a pizza from another establishment! We ate at other restaurants for the rest of our week long stay.
