Whistle Stop Cafe - Fox Lake

I recently dined at the Whistle Stop Café for the first time, and I was very pleased with my meal. I chose one of the specials displayed on the board by the entrance, which featured delicious eggs, bacon, and red velvet pancakes topped with strawberries. It was just the right amount—I finished every bite but didn’t have room for anything else! We also shared a carafe of apple juice, and both my kids and wife were satisfied with their meals as well. Despite the café being busy during our visit, our food arrived promptly. I highly recommend this place!

The food was excellent, and the hamburger was prepared exactly how I wanted it. The attention to detail from the waitstaff in this place is impressive.

Great prices, great service, and you won't come away from there hungry.

Brunch at this restaurant has become a family favorite. The staff is quick and efficient in processing orders, and the overall service is excellent, with someone regularly checking in on us. The food and coffee are delicious, and the portions are so generous that we often have leftovers to take home!

We are reg customers and usually love this place. Don?t understand how they ask how if everything was ok but yet do nothing about it. Found a black hair on the bottom of my plate and still had me pay did nothing but said sorry. Had the stuffedblueberry french toast. The lady at the register took my number and said she?d pass the information on to the owner Chris andshe?d call me. This was over 3 weeks ago? Haven?t heard back from anyone. Now I?m totally turned off by this place. I guessthey have enough business and don?t care.
