Whistle Stop Cafe - Fox Lake

We are reg customers and usually love this place. Don?t understand how they ask how if everything was ok but yet do nothing about it. Found a black hair on the bottom of my plate and still had me pay did nothing but said sorry. Had the stuffedblueberry french toast. The lady at the register took my number and said she?d pass the information on to the owner Chris andshe?d call me. This was over 3 weeks ago? Haven?t heard back from anyone. Now I?m totally turned off by this place. I guessthey have enough business and don?t care.

We were looking for a good breakfast place and picked this restaurant at random. So glad we did! Loved everything about it! The quaint feel, the super friendly attentive staff, and the food was fantastic! Huge portions! If you leave hungry, it is your own fault!

Big portions and friendly staff made my tummy happy on Saturday morning!

Whistle Stop is an great breakfast/ lunch dinner. The staff is welcoming, friendly and fun. The service is so fast its like the food is on the table before you finished ordering! It's hot fresh and so good. Highly recommended.

Holy wow! I did not want to like this place but it really exceeded expectations! Every employee I encountered was extremely friendly and welcoming. Everywhere is more and more expensive nowadays and I would take a star off for pricing but the quality and quantity absolutely make up for it well done and will be back! (Prices are less than listed on Google but more than old menu pics)
