Spoon Deli Cafe - Fortitude Valley

The food was perfectly cooked and great portion sizes. The coffee was so tasty. The service was impeccable however the wait time was too long.

Waited 40 minutes for the most underwhelming smashed avo ever. No real reason why we waited so long and when it arrived it was two slices of toast that where barely toasted with a teaspoon of avow on each.

Fun location that promised a great spot to eat that did not deliver. Waited around 50 mins for meals to arrive. When the meals are good you can forgive the wait however when our food was delivered we were terribly disappointed. The halloumi and veggie burgers were greasy and tasteless and the fries were warm at best. Very dissatisfied with the experience.

Very Poor. Service slow and on automatic. Ordered muesli for, took forever to arrive and then consisted of scoop of yogurt, two strawberry’s, a dollop of some type of jam and some muesli. It’s obvious why it’s always possible to get a table, anyone who’s been before doesn’t go back!

I can't understand how an establishment like this can get such a simple dish so wrong. I lunched there yesterday with a friend and as the only decent thing on the menu I ordered smashed Avcado on Sour dough bread and my friend has the same but with two eggs. The cost for this was prohibitive, $35. The bread was not sour dough and the avocado was tasteless. My friends eggs had been cooked the previous day. They were rubber and stale. Never eat here again, appalling cafe.
