Meso Maya Comida Y Copas - Fort Worth

The drinks and good were fantastic! All the food came out hot and the orders were correct. They did initially forget my meal but brought it out within five minutes of being notified. It was a little tough at times to find our server but they had just opened. The ambiance was fantastic but our booth seat was torn in the middle.

Had a great meal here this past weekend. Unique dishes with lots of flavor. Service was good and I can’t believe how fast our dishes came out. The Flan we had for dessert was delicious. Love that they take reservations too.

Made a reservation because we had a bigger party, the restaurant was pretty dead with only maybe 5 total tables in the whole restaurant occupied yet it took over 10 minutes for anyone to come to our table to get our drink order. We ordered everything at the same time once the server finally came. We ordered queso and by the time it came, we were pretty much out of chips but we weren’t brought anymore. It took us hunting out waiter down to ask then another long wait for them to be brought. Overall, would happily drive to the Dallas location over coming back to this one again.

We had a good Father’s Day. The food was delicious and we were very well attended !

Meso Maya has been a favorite for quite some time especially the Fort Worth location since it is less crowded and closer to us. I reserved through Open Table and added a special occasion for my wife 's B 'Day. The celebration was never acknowledged by the staff. Why ask if there is a special occasion if it is not going to be acknowledged? I ordered a drink from the bar, but the bar tenender seemed more interested in visiting with an aqauatance than preparing drinks as she chatted for over 10 minutes before someone else stepped in. I sat with a direct view of the bar and saw my drink sit at the bar for over 8 minutes and reminded our server of my drink. My drink was served at the time of my meal. Our server never came back to ask if I needed another. I probably would have ordered another two. Food was good but not as great as our previous visits. My son ordered the Salmon de Coco medium, it was over cooked and no flavor. My other son ordered the ordered the Carne Asada ' and my daughter in law ordered Arracherra although both were tender the flavor of liquid smoke seemed to over power the the meat. My wife ordered the tacos de carnitas and I ordered the enchiladas del mar which were good. This location was closed through the pandemic but just does not seem to meet pre-pandemic standards. We have been there several times since they have re-opened and it just is not what it was pre-pandemic. I have not tried any of their other locations in couple of years but hope this location can get their stuff together.
