Restaurant bewertenIn any case recommend! I use real Italian cuisine, in italien pasta and pizza are the best! So this place really deserves 5 stars. the first time since I came to usa, I eat delicious pasta! small beautiful restaurant with good quality!?
Mediocre. I had to order three times, because they had no intentions. shrimp alfredo was bland, tortellini was not as described and service was eh it was very concentrated on the arrangement of silverware (1/2 tables there.) the atmosphere was depressing, rock music in the background. over price for the area, service and atmosphere.
We tried Al Dente today as it had high reviews. Let me start by saying the service was superb, very cordial and attentive staff. And the decor was comfortableUnfortunately that was the best part of our experience. I am not one to generally leave negative comments, so my hope is this will be a constructive criticism. We ordered garlic knots, which were decent but the garlic was a bitter preserved garlic like the one that comes minced in a jar from the grocery store. The knots were decent but the bitter garlic was terrible.Vodka Pasta, for starters it was supposed to have bacon and it had none! I think they used bacon grease. Also the sauce was very watery with no flavor.Spaghetti and Meatballs, honestly their red sauce is pretty decent but it does taste like it is canned. Meatballs were spot on.Spicy Italian Sausage pasta, once again their red sauce base is ok, but little to no flavor in the ground sausage. I could have order basic Spaghetti, spent less and probably had the same dish.Chicken Parm, it was spaghetti, red sauce and grilled chicken. In what universe is Chicken Parm grilled? In their defense the menu does state it's grilled but no words to describe the blandness of the chicken.Shrimp Alfredo, shrimp portion and quantity really was good. But the alfredo sauce is way way way too thick. It tasted like it was poured from a can that had been sitting on the shelf for 3 years. It was gross in my opinion.Once again service and ambiance are top notch. Food is not good. I felt as if I had been robbed eating there. The food is very expensive but low quality. We dont plan on going back and would probably just go to Olive Garden or some other generic restaurant over this place. With some slight changes in their menu this place really could be off the charts...it just starts with easy fresh ingredients. Happy to come show you a few simple recipes for your menu.
The absolute worst Italian food we have ever had. We went on a Saturday lunchtime and we were the only ones there! The garlic knots had no flavor and were hard; came with cold sauce. The beef ravioli was just barely edible. The linguine a la vodka was not in fact Al Dente and had zero flavor. The menu said it had bacon and was in a creamy sauce. Zero bacon and the sauce was more like the pasta water you drain from the pot. Zero flavor and inedible. They also do not service wine or take Amex. We decided to skip dessert since everything else was so underwhelming never again!
We had an absolutely fabulous dinner! There were four of us, and we ordered four different pasta dishes. Everyone had a little bit of everything, and we couldn't decide on a favorite, they were all delicious. Our server was attentive, but not overly so, and the atmosphere is intimate but not stuffy. The chocolate cake is also delicious! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Ft Worth.
