Country Kitchen - Fort Payne

Quality has gone down a bit, sadly. Still good though. Covid has everything all weird but dressing tasted like it had been frozen awhile vs fresh. Hope it gets back to normal soon. Great pie! Nice server.

Stopped in Ft. Payne for Breakfast, great food, great people, great service. Our son asked when we were coming back before we had even finished.

The meatloaf was dry and tasted old the ice tasted like it had dust in it. My partner had a cold grill cheese that tasted old and the fries were old. So overall not a good place to eat!!!

The food tasted okay. It was also cold and the place didn't look that sanitary. Only one elderly couple sitting at a table and the lady went in the back to I assume heat up a plate for me. No other customers.

HEADS UP: This place doesn't accept credit cards, cash only! But still, don't pass this place up! Wonderful, homemade style food that will remind you of how mom/grandma used to make. Friendly atmosphere, and cheap even in today's economy, give this place a shot next time you're in Fort Payne.
