Obaltan - Fort Lee

We went there right after they opened on a Sunday. The food was great but the wait time was a bit long and the wait time kept unchanged while we waited outside for 30 minutes. After let in, we were told we could not sit together as a party of 8, but after arguing with them, we managed to sit together (thought the argue was completely unnecessary).

Great food and some of the best seafood and pork bbq spots in this area. Definitely try the seafood combo and cheese corn.

My son chose this place for his 20th birthday and read the reviews but was so intrigued I had the clam dish and seafood Ramen this is a lot of food well prepared service was impeccable these guys where very good. The wait on a Friday at 6pm was 45 60mins understood there is no liquor served this is NJ the pork was more expensive than the seafood which I have never seen before overall exceeded my expectations the clams and egg souffle was delish let it cool down it is hot hot Also cheese on scallops is not a good combination we will return.

Amazing food and service! The meat was so fresh, we got the brisket and duck. Service was also very good, they were always checking up on us and were very helpful

The plot thickens for the spicy braised monkfish saga! My latest takeout experience has been that the amount has decreased compared to the previous times that I have gotten this dish, and now the experience has been made even worse because the takeout rice was old instead of being from that day and the packaging of the dish was horrendous with sauce seeping out and dirtying the car seat that it was place on during the drive home. Will we still get the spicy monkfish once in a while? Yes, because it's one of my mom's favorites and we haven't found a restaurant for it (yet). Hopefully, I will be able to update the review with positive feedback instead of more negative ones.
