Restaurant bewertenLittle hole in the wall sushi joint. We ordered Udon and Yakisoba to start both phenomenal, best Udon I?ve had. Then we had a standard Dynamite Roll along with two ?showcase? rolls Rock Sushi and The Wallflower. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The Wallflower was our favorite! This may become our go to sushi place in Fort Lauderdale!
I came here today with a few friends. My friends ordered the hibachi chicken bowls while I had the groupie roll. My sushi was absolutely phenomenal and my friends praised the hibachi. The service was great, right as you walk in you are given a warmwelcome by the friendly staff. My server was so kind and checked up on us frequently. Her name was Taylor, I?ll be asking forher everytime. Definitely recommend! I?ll be coming back for sure.
We have visited Sushi Rock a couple of times. Parking can be a challenge at times as it's a high volume area. The restaurant has great vibes and has a rock and roll decor throughout. The seating isn't conducive to an intimate setting if that is what you seek as all the tables are so close together. We ended up sitting at the bar to attain some sort of privacy as the restaurant was quite busy when we went there. After being seating it did take a while before anyone approached us to take a drink order. Once we placed our order a few other patrons came in after us and attained their orders before us (we were a party of two). The sushi was great quality and the food was great. We were pretty satisfied with the food aspect of the visit.
Nice late lunch run by friendly staff. It’s dark inside but in a good way. They played 80’s music and classic rock which was much appreciated. The crunch rice tuna roll was excellent.Parking not easy in that area. It’s just off a busy intersection.
I found this place and decided to try it on the way to the air and sea show. It was just ok. It had a funny smell like sewer water, but I saw other diners so we decided to stay. Ordered the sushi bake which was decent, just imitation crab on top of rice with a sauce. It was served in a cute dish. My daughter enjoyed her JB roll which was reasonably sized and I ordered the fried rice with everything in it and it tasted a lot like Paella. It didn't have an authentic fried rice flavor, but it was a good portion and packed with meats. I may try it again, but it is really pricey and I think there are other places in the area with a better selection of food.
