Restaurant bewertenHad so much fun here! Ordered the berry white, lavender sour, and this ain't Texas. They gave us some complimentary pomegranate vodka shots and those little tasters were AMAZING. I'm tempted to spend the rest of my life trying to recreate them haha Server was attentive and everyone was very nice. This place feels fancier than most places without being too overpriced. We enjoyed the speakeasy decor!
The restaurant specializes in small plates, which we adore. My daughter and I shared the burrata salad, which was delightful and came with flavorful chickpea crackers. We also enjoyed a small charcuterie board and ceviche, both of which were excellently prepared. To finish, my daughter had their gluten-free brownie, which was absolutely incredible. Zach was so thoughtful that he packed up our leftovers, and my daughter ended up with a lovely lunch today! I highly recommend heading to Social and asking for Zach—you won't be disappointed!
One of my new favorite speak-easy experiences to date. Waited about 15 minutes before being led down a set of stairs underground into a swanky, beautiful bar and restaurant space. We had dinner previously before arriving, so we sampled drinks and a couple insanely delicious desserts. I had the espresso martini, which was surprisingly not too sweet and had a smooth, creamy taste. The bread pudding was uncomplicatedly delicious; the texture was perfection (tender, light, not too eggy) the whipped cream and cream cheese sauce were perfect accompaniments. The chocolate banana trifle was particularly surprising, as the coconut cake layered in between made for excellent texture and sophisticated sweetness. 10/10 recommend for a classy date night!
The cocktails at this place are nothing short of amazing! During my recent visit to town for a family gathering, I decided to stop in for a drink, and I couldn't resist coming back the next night. I tried the Sgt. Pepper and This Ain't Texas cocktails, and both were incredibly delicious! I also sampled their Banana Chocolate Trifle, which was absolutely delightful. The servers were fantastic—so friendly and attentive. They genuinely take the time to engage with each customer, which I really appreciate. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for in a cocktail bar: great music, a welcoming layout, and some really cool artwork. If I find myself in Denver again, I will definitely return!
The interior of this place is stunning, featuring lots of wood, dim lighting, and various seating options. We secured a cozy little booth, which turned out to be part of the fantastic Savannah's section. Prior to our visit, we had browsed the cocktail menu, but we took another look before placing our orders. The cocktails were generously poured and beautifully crafted. Savannah, our bubbly and friendly server, made our experience even better with her great service. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and the different liquors. While discussing mezcal, she surprised us with tiny samples to try. We each had two drinks and shared a couple of small plates since the cocktails were quite strong, and we had a long drive back ahead of us. We loved the place so much that we mentioned to Savannah that we’d like to stay overnight in town to fully enjoy Social. She recommended the Elizabeth. At one point, Morgan, the manager, came over to check on us and, upon learning it was our first visit, treated us to small glasses of champagne. As seasoned patrons of NYC and Miami hotspots, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. Social has undoubtedly earned its stellar reputation, making the long journey from the southern suburbs of Denver worthwhile. We are definitely looking forward to returning for an overnight stay to further explore the town and visit Social again!
