One of the best cafe's in the Chicago land area. The owner has a great aura, very warm and welcoming! All of the treats are amazing especially the old school butter cookies.... My favorites are the lemon. 5 stars easy!

One of the hidden gems in Forest Park, this pocket sized sweet shop is so small it only fits about 1 customer at a time, and it 's only open during the summer and fall warm weather season. I stumbled on it while out walking my neighborhood and have gone back many times since. It 's right down the street from the school, so it has a lot of kids as customers, but they definitely have a lot of adult fans as well. Woman owned business, too! Must try: 1. the homemade butter cookies! My favorite are the traditional ones and also the PB&J ones. So delicious and crisp...decadent 2. the homemade gelato! My fave is the kiwi strawberry They also have candy and other snacks like giant pickles, plus coffee. The owner is such a very friendly and nice person, it feels good to support a neighborhood small business.

Delicious cookies. Loved the Italian ice. Super helpful location if you need to bribe your kids to leave the pool. Lol. But for real! We are so glad to have a business back in this location and the person who runs it seems really kind. Hoping it does well! We will be back.
