The Ox - Forest Lake

Probably worth 3.5. Service was good but the good on the group would have to get an average score. My risotto was not special at all. Prices OK. Not far from work, it's going to get another chance

Food is delicious and served with a smile. They have a kids entertainment room that makes the whole dinning experience much more easier for families. I love the atmosphere of casual and homely.

4 adults and 3 kids, 6 months to 10 years old had lunch there on 22 November 2020. The food was terrific and large helpings. Service was superb. Our server was Maddy and she could not have been more helpful.

Pretty happy with my experiences at this place, The Bistro. Food is generally pretty good and the staff/customer service is always top notch. Very friendly, welcoming and always happy to help out when it comes to the menu. This place always rewards people for loyalty, I used the special offer to try their special Barramundi for dinner and really enjoyed it. Only thing that's missing from this place is free wi-fi, I was at the bus stop nearby and got free wi-fi from Bunnings of all places. Either way I enjoyed dinner.

We eat at The Ox from time to time and have had no complaints. Today, the staff were friendly and obliging as always and our lunches were very enjoyable. Wonderful slow cooked lamb shank and chicken parmigiana followed by great crème brulee. Today we found the overhead music very loud and jumbled, making conversation difficult. Usually the music is much quieter. Why have such intrusive music where people go to eat and talk? We were also quite warm because in spite of the air conditioning, we were seated against the expansive glass outer wall. We will certainly go back but we won't be staying if we can't relax and talk.
