Restaurant bewertenWhat a sad representation of an authentic Thai restaurant. Such unkind unprofessional staff.. My $15 dish did not have the ingredients that were listed on the Google menu online .. It clearly states that there were green beans. When I called, the woman said that they don't have green beans because of the hurricane. I said you should let people know that and offer a substitution of a vegetable if you're paying $15 for a vegetarian dish with the only other vegetables being carrots and onion. I said I would like to please have the dish remade with broccoli. She agreed. However, when I came back , she said she would not remake it. This same thing happened several months ago when I placed a to go order, but I politely decided not to complain and I decided to give them a second chance. I also asked for it to be a level 3 spicy, and it had no spice at all and only 3 pineapple... So discouraging that a pineapple fried rice dish lacked so many key ingredients.. this restaurant chooses to take advantage of its customers by gouging prices and placing blame on a hurricane for such a thing as green beans. I'm pretty sure that every grocery store in town has many options for purchasing green beans..frozen, canned and fresh green beans! Surely something was available. To lie to a customer and not even make it right shows such a lack of good business practice. If you menu changes , update your online menu, that's what people read when they order to go items.. Please, DO NOT waste your money on this arrogant, rude , dishonest staff restaurant... Shame on Your Establishment..
As Someone who Has Eaten Thai Food Frequently.. This Food was the Worst Thai Food My Family I Have Ever Eaten! Waste Of $120.. Food Had No Flavor or Tasted Nasty.. Expensive.. Tiny Portions.. Never Again!
Very happy with Lanna Thai. Food far above average, very friendly staff and nice atmosphere.Portion size was excellent as well, not too much, not lacking either. They have some good lunch time specials as well.Well done Lanna Thai team.
My father ate some mussels here and he was sick in bed for two days. I never seen him so bedridden and we almost had to take him to the ER. We gave him one tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar every few hours diluted with water so it could destroy the bacteria that was in the mussels ....he slowly recovered, thankfully. Lanna Thai does not know about this till now, but there is a risk apparently on the internet about eating mussels that are under cooked. Fast forward in time and my father is doing okay, but ...never again eating at places like this. We'd rather cook more at home now.
Great service. Thai Tea was spot on, as was the Cashew Shrimp. I requested 'Medium ' spice level, and it didn 't disappoint. Not too sweet, as some places can be. Veggies were fresh and cooked perfect. A little less rice than I 'd normally get, but it was enough for the generous lunch portion that was served.
