B J's Fine Food Spirits - Flandreau

The previous owners had this restaurant operating flawlessly, but the new management has really let it decline. The customer service is dreadful. Both staff members were standing behind the bar, drinking and chatting with their friends while customers waited to place their orders. It took ages for our food to arrive. It’s clear they just don’t care about their patrons. I won’t be returning to this place.

My experience at the restaurant was quite ordinary; I felt the same when I arrived as I did when I left. Nothing particularly notable happened.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner date at this charming little restaurant for the first time. We tried the special of the night, which included chicken fried steak, homemade vegetable beef soup, and mashed potatoes with gravy. I would definitely give them a five-star rating—everything was delicious! The cooking was fantastic, and our waitress was incredibly kind; she even referred to my husband as a "young man," which was such a sweet touch. The food was excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
