Le Moko’ Cafe’ - FIUMICINO

When a restaurant dresses for Halloween and sends the trick and treaters away ! That’s a trick right ?! Lots of staff in their mobiles…but sadly unclean toilets x

We came here thinking it was a dinner spot, only to find out it’s more of a bar with snacks. We decided to get some drinks and the appetizer board that we saw everyone getting. 4 stars because while the board looks good, it’s literally the same food presented in about 8 different ways ham (prosciutto) and cheese with bread. It was good, but for two people it was a lot and we didn’t finish it because it was just...a lot of ham and cheese lol. It would be great to split the board with at least 4 people, but the waiter recommended it to us and I wish we hadn’t gotten it. It was cheap though, the whole board was 8€. We’d go back for drinks and not expect to eat.

Chic bar located by the canal. Ten minutes by cab from Fiumicino airport. A massive old locomotive stands next to it, so it's hard to miss it. The cafe is lovely decorated and has a small terrace. Cool vibes, friendly staff, fancy music. I ordered some snacks and a Negroni. The Negroni was fantastic, so I needed to order another one. They prepare it with Carpano Rosso vermouth, which seems to be a perfect match for gin. A great selection of rums is available, and they really do serve the rum in style. I tasted a Santa Teresa (the famous rum from Venezuela) next to a few slices of red Sicilian oranges and bitter chocolate, a delicious treat. All in all, this cafe is highly recommended if you have a 3-4 hours stopover at Rome airport (too short to go to Rome, too long to stay confined in airport).

La gentilezza e la cordialità, insieme all'estrema pulizia, unitamente al caffè di ottima qualità e ai prodotti prelibati, rendono questo locale molto ben arredato e accogliente. I prezzi si adattano a tutti i budget. Decisamente consigliato.

Ottimo Bar/Birreria con buona musica e personale allegro e cordiale.
