Nicks has always been the go to pizza place been eating here since 1991 when I moved to Hazel

Nick's Pizza is a true staple to the Ferndale/Hazel Park area. I've been going here for now 15 years and don't see it changing.The pizza is always fantastic. I personally always love the idea of getting just one topping on their pizzas because they are extremely generous with their portions. It's also nice that a pizza place actually consistently cooks their food and you don't have to worry about choosing specific days to order from them.But don't be fooled into thinking only the pizza is good. Their subs and bread are absolutely amazing as well. I can't speak to the wings or some of the other various items, but it's kinda hard to imagine those wouldn't be just as good as the other items.Maybe my favorite part of Nick's though is their pricing. It's getting harder and harder to find that marriage of quality and price. Nick's does it harmoniously somehow and I think that's why they continue to thrive.If you've never been and you're a local, you're really missing out.

Tried Nick's for the first time the other night. Pizza is pretty good, nice soft crust and semi-sweet. My only complaint was the staff being pretty short with me. I didn't even have a chance to sign the receipt and they were already gone. Online ordering is always a nice benefit. All in all, I'll definitely order again.... Maybe it was an off night for the person at the counter.
