Restaurant bewertenSo I am giving this restaurant 5 stars all around. The food was the best we have had on this vacation, from the crab cakes, stuffed shrimp, crab dip, to the fried oysters, and of course the crabs. As a non shell fish lover, for me we ordered the broiled salmon and it was cooked to perfection eaten with some moist corn bread! We ordered a lot! It was deliciousThe service was as polite as you can imagine and as good as can be hoped for when the people running the floor are also the people cooking the food. The service included extra crabs and so much kindness even with our table that had 4 kids under the age of 10 paired with 5 tires near end of vacation adults. The atmosphere was perfect for families. It was relaxing and completely unassuming.
Food was fantastic, crabs were great , if you want to take the family out for crabs and be able to afford it , this is definitely the place to go , very nice people who run the place. Went there on a Saturday night for dinner, they were really busy and understaffed but did a great job serving all the tables full of people. Atmosphere here isn't great , and could use some sprucing up, there was a TV on the wall, which was off and some reggae music in the background I think for staff to listen to) in the kitchen.
Service was excellentJoss did a great job. Jimmy was very cordial. Will be back there next year. We had crab dip and steamed crabs. Both were delicious. Enjoyed ourselves.
As a family of four on our first beach vacay, we wanted to have at least one seafood experience while there. As I started looking I quickly realized most restaurants were way out of our budget. I did more digging and came across Rusty Jimmies. Being from the Midwest we were apprehensive but we are so glad to have found this place. Its not famcy by any means which is even better for us coming straight from the beach. The food was phenomenal. We had the crab dip, fried shrimp dinner, and Captain Jimmies Feast. Everything was delicious. The crab cakes are sooo delicious and we could've eaten the huspuppies till we got sick. Oh and the banana bread is a must try is you like banana bread. The service was even better. Our server was so nice and helpful. We left full and happy and if we end up back in this area will 100% eat here again.Kid-friendliness: Had the usual kid friendly options. Hot dog, grilled cheese, etc. Cool coloring pics they hang on the walls.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. Came down on a 4 day vacation and wanted the Delaware/Maryland crab experience and got it. Crabs were cooked perfectly and caught fresh that day. My fiance got crab cakes and corn bread that was great also. The owner was incredibly friendly and has a great story for his business. If you want great seafood in a feel good atmosphere, go here.
