Exceptionally brilliant little pub. great eating all local resource-saving and best Cheesy chips! great bar staff and made to feel very welcome at every visit to our walks. so good sometimes is a taxi to house involved! very dog friendly (also a dog bowl roast) also child-friendly.

Very nice food massive garden well worth a visit. We will be going back again.

Popped in for a bite to eat, the food was really good, hubby said they had a great selection of ales and the staff were really friendly. Will be going back!

Superb Sunday platter (roast chicken dinner for 4 for £25). Wanted a family roast without having to cook and wash up on my birthday. It surpassed all expectations. And because we have two little ones who don't eat much meat I now have chicken sandwiches for my packed lunch tomorrow! Homely child friendly service too.

Excellent service and the Sunday Lunch is fantastic. The best gravy I have ever tasted. I recommend it to one and all and it is ideal for dog walkers who have just been for a truck around the local military training area.
