Restaurant bewertenUnfortunately, we've attempted to visit twice in the last couple of weeks, but both times they were closed before 6:00 PM.
It's 1:30 PM, and the restaurant staff seems to be just hanging around while the trash bins are overflowing. It would only take a minute to empty them. The bathroom is also blocked—what's the reason for that? If the bathroom is going to be out of order, you might as well close the place down. The staff could be a lot friendlier too!
I stopped by for a quick bite during the dinner break. There was one customer ahead of me, making a total of three people in the restaurant. Two men were working behind the counter, and they didn’t seem to notice us. While we waited, we took the chance to look around, and what we saw was quite disappointing—there were food spills and a general sense of disorganization. A few of the display cases were empty and unclean. After about six minutes of watching the two young men casually move about behind the counter while ignoring us, we decided to leave.
Delicious soups, particularly the New England clam chowder!
Manager choses to randomly close the dining area forcing a dozen or so patrons who are waiting to see relatives in the ICU out into the freezing cold. Why? To clean? Sanitize? NO. So she can then callously video those she kicked out standing in the chill of the hospital entry and share the video on social media. She must be so proud. When questioned, the manager claimed she was following COVID Rules. Hospital staff unable to do anything since this is a CORPORATE OWNED LEASED location. The Dining area remained EMPTY and UNUSED for HOURS afterwards. What are they thinking? There are dozens of ways to maintain Covid safety protocols. This is a serious overreach that doesn 't make a shred of sense. Saturday Nov 27, 2021 after 4 pm.
