Super Duper Weenie - Fairfield

First had SDWM back in 02' when they were operating out of the truck. Love this place if you've never been I suggest giving it a try! I usually get a Cali or NewEnglander but frankly everything is great!

They sent a plain hot dog when we paid and ordered a bacon cheese Dog! Definitely disappointed

I had the new englander and loved him! I was standing back in my childhood charitable hot dog! so perfectly cooked, the sour wort was also amazing. I swear, these hot dogs weigh a bit! the bungalow is soft and fresh. the freshly cut fries are delicious, do not forget the fries! the staff was very friendly and patient while reading the extensive menu. well worth the ride for us, I found out that on the food channel, they go for them!

Follow guy fieri from ddd to this place. it has very cute board and store presentation. has new yorker, love the kick at the end of the hot relish, feels like a lot of components in this hot dog, but every taste well mixed. I usually don't like an acidic taste, but that's just the right acid. ordered small pommes, but man the pommes are definitiw overloaded! it's not small for me that I didn't order big! the employees are nice when I eat in the dining area, every time someone comes by, they tell you hello.

If they want well handmade hotdogs and special sandwiches, this is their place. the menu has a great variety without requiring a two page menu and key settings that make it a place to go back. I chose the georgia red hot weenie, the fairfield cheesesteak sandwich and their freshly cut pommes. my eyes were bigger than my appetit. the hot dog had a beautiful spice with a large mix of arome and textures from the relish and sour wort. the cheese steak was different from I used to it, but great! meat was tender, the cheese was delicious and the bungalow was slightly roasted. the pommes had a big knirschen, which is critical for me to enjoy a budding fritten. what seals the deal for all this is gary, the owner. he is such a person who has a great personality that brings the life into this place. a small square in the series!
