Restaurant bewertenI got a break. went to collect and told about 15 or 20 minutes to ready on a busy Saturday night. there was a free drink, so fair enough. the starters were not big and small portions and the thay had ran out of samosa! I thought the chk pakora was the worst. strange batter moaning with a whispered batter. I had sth indian garlic chili that was hot and very tasty. no complaining there and my wife enjoyed her lamb dish. others said their main courses were a bit dirty. nan's on the little side. overall I would use again, but avoid the chicken pakora and wobbly bhaji.
Like many other reviewers, we had a bit of trouble finding this place (not much indication on the outside). However, once in, we were met with friendly and attentive service. The food was a great surprise, the quality was as good as in any much more expensive Indian restaurants I’ve been to (and better than in many). The generous portion sizes and amazingly low prices make this one a no-brainer if you’re in Eyemouth. We left with a full belly, a mouthful of great flavours and a smile on our faces- this will be my first stop when I’m back in the area.
Ordered a carry out meal. Absolutely top class. The pakora and nan bread were cooked to perfection as was our curry
Really unassuming, and potentially unattractive, exterior belies a really lovely, well run restaurant. Food was excellent, and well sized. Comprehensive and interesting menu. Service was slow, but that was because they catered for my massive group of 13 people descending on them unannounced- and catered very well indeed.
