Restaurant bewertenMy husband and I eat gluten-free so it is a real treat to be able to have fried chicken. There is a long wait, so be prepared. The chicken wasn?t seasoned but you can add salt and pepper and the gluten-free coating is great! We went on Mother?s Day and they gave me a rose which is still bringing me joy every day 2 weeks later (see photo). It was such a thoughtful gesture. I?d like to thank the manager or whoever came up with this idea.
This was my first time going here, my boyfriend said the place used to be really good, but sadly it just wasn?t that great. I?ve had better chicken from kfc honestly. It seems like it was cooked hours ago because it was pretty dry and crunchy (not in a good way)?the guy at the counter seemed really not happy to be there, plus he mixed up our orders so we ended up with the wrong cuts of chicken and couldn?t trade back bc I didn?t get spicy. The fries weren?t salty at all and the mashed potatoes was just a pool of gravy. Think I?ll just go back to ezells sadly
Food was fine, but $22 for a pound of chicken(9 pieces)? And when I called because all the menu said was a large (thinking that the other place that has the same recipe so maybe the same size) the teenager who answered the phone was rude and told me the price is that was because they are better and hung up on me. I normally don?t come here because of what they stand for but I didn?t feel like driving to the place I like better. Well I learned my lesson. So food was fine, bad prices, bad customer service. I work in the food industry too, I don?t treat my guests like that.
Oh, my God! I'm a happy girl. I ordered gluten-free chicken strips and they were delicious in so many ways. The chicken was moist and delicate, the coating was crispy but still delicate and fluffy. Wonderful! Deep-fried gluten-free everything is always a treat, but to taste good and have a great mouth feeling is a rare combination. Thank you for providing this delicious option.
As a person with a wheat allergy, I came to Heaven Sent Fried Chicken for it gluten-free options and was not disappointed! Not only does the food taste amazing, but they have a whole gluten-free menu (you can even get spicy dough! It is the first restaurant where I didn't feel limited to what I could order: I will definitely come back.
