Tea Pond Lodge Cabins - Eustis

I left one voicemail, called four times, and sent two emails to inquire about the wedding venue, but received no response. Thinking I’d try one more time, I called again and a woman answered. Unfortunately, she was quite rude and seemed eager to end the conversation. I was baffled by her lack of professionalism, especially given that I was interested in their services. I chose to remain polite and understanding during our exchange. She informed me that she would check her computer on Monday (we spoke on Thursday), and when I offered my phone number, her response was for me to text her instead, promising she would get back to me on Monday. As of Tuesday, I still have not received any follow-up text. This level of unprofessionalism is concerning. The next customer may not be as patient or understanding.

I've visited this restaurant for lunch multiple times via snowmobile, and I must say the food is outstanding. There's a wide selection to choose from. The lodge is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. I'm excited about the prospect of dining there this summer. It’s definitely one of my favorite spots to visit and enjoy a meal.

The restaurant boasts a lovely atmosphere and charming decor, but unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the menu, pricing, or food preparation. My husband ordered a medium-rare prime rib, which ended up being overcooked and lacking in flavor. I opted for the salmon, but it was served cold and raw in the center. The waitress kindly took it back and it was then cooked enough to be edible. Given the out-of-the-way location, I expected prices to be a bit higher, but for two drinks, one appetizer, and two meals, our bill exceeded $110. We vacation in this area roughly every two years, but we won’t be returning to this restaurant.

Although I can't comment much on the cabins since my visit was solely for lunch, I imagine they are just as great as the lodge. The location may be off-grid, but it doesn’t feel that way at all—there's plenty of lighting thanks to two generators and solar panels. For those interested in activities, the nearby snowmobile trails are excellent. As for food and drinks, I came here specifically for that, not for accommodations.
