Paglione Estate Winery - Essex

Leamington, Kingsville, Harrow are not known for their vegan kindness, so I was thrilled to find this place. Local winery and small Italian restaurant serves mostly wood-fired pizza. Very nice outdoor terrace to take sun in the evening. Offer vegan cheese for pizzas (dough is vegan), salads can be modified as needed to make them vegan, and they have vegan gelato options (chocolate drizzle and coconut when I was there). All red wines are vegan, but the white wines use gelatin to filter fine in the juice stage (filtered before fermentation in wine no gelatin in the end product).

Paglione Estate Winery offers pizzas hand made to order in a wood burning clay oven. As we sat on the patio, the chef used the outdoor oven. It was fun to see our own pizza baking as we sat in the afternoon breeze.The pizza was very good, we will definitely be back.

We really liked our time at Paglione winery, we enjoyed the wine and especially having oven baked pizza with it. Our only issue was that we paid for a bottle of wine to drink, but they kept it inside and would not allow us to have it on our table, while we ate. Must be a LLBO licensing thing.....otherwise, great place !!!

I had read a lot about their wood fired oven pizzas and let me just say : they were AMAZING !We are not wine drinkers so cannot comment on the tasting menu but the steady flow of wine tasters meant their product is good !We went early in summer so the grounds were kind of bare but I can imagine them being lovely during summer .We had the Asparagus pizza which was the special for the day and it did not disappoint us .Do go out and taste their Gelato ice-creams . The caramel flavor is yum !

I like Paglione's because they make all their wines without added sugar - very unique! My favorite wine of theirs is the merlot - yum! In the summertime, they also have wood-fired pizza and gelato. It is enjoyable!
