The Queens Head - Erewash

Visited with friends and family. Great pub with a good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was served piping hot. Will happily visit again

We made a reservation for 7 people for Christmas Day lunch. Despite some mixed reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. The booking and payment process was easy and allowed everyone to order their own meals online. When we arrived at the busy pub, we were promptly seated at a beautifully decorated table with crackers, Santa hats, and a coloring pack for my daughter. The restaurant was spacious, unlike other places that often cram you in. The food was delicious, with even the child's portion being generously sized for my 8-year-old. Our portions were large and I couldn't finish mine, so we were able to take the leftovers home for our dogs. The desserts were all delicious and well-presented. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return in the future.

We all had a fantastic evening at this pub. The atmosphere was great for enjoying a meal and conversation without loud background music. The food was delicious and came out all at once for our party of 7. They offer a variety of beers, including Pumps and real ale. The Jester Stout was especially good. The staff were attentive, friendly, and not intrusive. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Very disappointed today to find that we could not have the Christmas Menu. I reserved a table weeks ago and can honestly say I didn't see anything about booking festive and when I questioned it, was very bluntly told no you can't have it! I think constructive criticism about things not being quite clear on the online booking system should be taken in the spirit of which it was given and with a view to improvement in the future. What ever happened to the customer being right? Perhaps some customer service training might be in order as well.

The food was amazing and the pub itself is warm, cosy and very welcoming. All credit goes to the management and staff who made us feel at home with excellent service. See you again soon!
