Restaurant bewertenI visited all the Roxie locations and have always appreciated their decent steaks. On this particular day, we decided to try the Sunday roast. The prawn and chorizo starters were delightful, while the creamy spinach was a bit on the thick side. The mashed potatoes were excellent. Those who ordered the filet roast were very pleased, although the chicken was a touch dry. My sirloin steak was delicious, but the picanha was just okay. They kindly allowed us to bring our own birthday cake without charging a fee. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow, even though there was only one other table in the restaurant, which seems to be a recurring issue at the Roxie Wimbledon location. Overall, the meal was reasonably priced, coming to about £60 per person. While it wasn't a standout experience, it wouldn't be my first choice for future visits.
I had a delightful Father's Day dinner with my son at Roxie’s in Wimbledon, a charming steakhouse that we visit occasionally. Our meals are never disappointing. The atmosphere is enjoyable, though it can get a bit noisy at times. The menu focuses primarily on beef but also includes some vegetarian and chicken options. The starters are great, and they offer a lovely selection of side dishes. I especially love the Asian salad. They have an excellent wine list and drink menu to complement the meals. They do serve Sunday roasts, but I’ve never tried them.
