Firenze Trattoria - Encinitas

We went there for lunch on a weekday. The patio is so nice, with the fountain. The service was excellent! So friendly. The food is really good, very homemade feeling. Prices are reasonable. This place is a good option for a date or lunch.

I brought my wife and son here last night to celebrate my wife's birthday and had a phenomenal meal! Jeanette was our waitress and was extremely nice and helped us with explanations and recommendations. Firenze Trattoria is probably my favorite Italian restaurant in San Diego County!

This is a nice, cozy restaurant. I ordered the Rigatoni, which was quite good, but nothing exceptional. I found the value a bit lacking at a price of $32.

Italian sausage soup with light tomato broth was outstanding. Portion was too small for a bowl (shallow bowl 3/4 inch depth of soup) serving. The Caesar salad was delish! Excellent service and ambiance. Highly recommend.

I have some experience with food, and considering that, I feel the food did not match the price we paid. For what we spent, we could have gone to Coronado's Il Fornaio and truly enjoyed our meal. The food was very bland, and the service was lacking. Our table was often ignored while new guests received more attention. We ended up spending more time chatting with the server than actually eating. Honestly, I've had better service and food at Chick-fil-A.
