Favn Spiseri - Elverum

Came here for a lunch. We ordered chicken bread and chicken cesar salad. Both of the dishes were very good, tasty and bigger than we expected! We liked especially the cesar dressing, aioli and well fried crispy breads. The place has nice decor and the staff was really friendly. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Nice premises, good service and good food. Was going to have dinner during the Smaksfestivalen and ended up at Favn. The last time I visited I was so disappointed that I promised myself it would be a long time until the next time I stopped by. This time it was really good. A number of changes had been made to the menu, and both the veal with herb lid and the shaved fish were very good. The veal was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were heavenly. The shaved fish had good taste and the accompaniments were just right. Maybe could have had a little more beetroot, but that's a matter of taste. Our waiter was constantly stopping by the table to ask if we needed a refill of wine, side dishes or if we were doing well. Very nice girl! Hugs are recommended!

Very good food! We started with focaccia and aioli, it was very good! Then we had trout and barbecue skewers with beef. Good flavors. Nicely laid out, the vegetables were perfectly cooked. There were surprisingly few guests on a Wednesday night. More people should find their way here! Kn is recommended. When the beer glass also shows that they can also treat the glass washing and the beer, I am satisfied. Nice local. Pleasant and good waiter.

Absolutely superb, for absolutely lousy service, last year. But now there is a new head chef and possibly management. Stable and good in 2023. Lovely food and drink.
