Restaurant bewertenI visited Federick's twice in the last month.The first time I had an incredible experience dining in and ordering the Chili Chicken lunch special. The food was prepared quickly and the serving size could fit two meals comfortably.The second time, I had ordered a hot sour soup for pick up. I was told ~20 minutes and upon arrival, I was told it would be a few more minutes but the food wasn't prepared for another 25.Moving forward, please try your best to provide accurate timings to customers who may be arriving on a lunch break to pick up their food.I'd be wary about ordering things that are not on the lunch special menu if you are in a rush!
Service is absolutely horrible, spent more than $200.00 on food they gave me my food minus 4 dishes that I had ordered, I to called the restaurant 8 times however they picked up the phone and hung up on me every time. Finally, I had to drive back to the restaurant all the way from Pickering. When I reached there , the girl at the counter knew very well that my order was missing 4 dishes, when I told her that I kept calling and they were hanging up the phone. She just chuckled and then said, we will make fresh, so always check your orders before you leave !! The chicken pakoras were burnt !!The Frederick 's at Markham is a better restaurant. The Ellesmere location is horrible ??? . If I could select zero/ no stars , I would!!Parking: Parking is a nightmare!!
Fantastic food! Tourist from London and Federick is a must visit for me, the Hakka food is the best I have ever had. Particularly enjoyed the chilli chicken and the manchurian fried rice. Service was great despite being very busy, and the food was very afforable!
Ordered some take out for myself and the family and once we ate we were able to tell the food was a bit off. Unfortunately, what we had tried made us sick and ended up being food poisoning and was mainly from the shrimp, it must've been spoiled...Never eating here again.
I visited this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations Firstly, the food arrived cold, which was a major disappointment. It's basic to expect a hot meal when dining in. Moreover, I was told it would take 20 minutes for my order to be ready, but it arrived at the table within 2 minutes. This raised concerns about the freshness of the food and whether it had been rushed.To make matters worse, I noticed a service charge on the bill, which, When I questioned this charge, it was eventually canceled, but it should never have been added in the first place.Overall, the combination of cold food, inconsistent timing, and the initially incorrect service charge left me with a less-than-satisfactory dining experience. I hope the restaurant can address these issues to improve its service quality.
