Restaurant bewertenMy order of beef brisket was just a pile of burnt fat and dried up meat. We had to throw it away. We tried to eat the 2 Kabobs and they were too overcooked, and burned. It was like eating meat mixed in with charcoal.
UPDATE: 8/17/2021I took my parents to eat here and ordered the 3 meats and 2 sides platter. I got the pulled pork, ribs and OMG fingers with rice and macaroni salad. I mother had taken a bite of the macaroni salad only to find that it was molding. The salad smelled and tasted horrible. If anyone had eaten the entire thing they would have gotten sick for sure. Even though the food has been okay, I don't think I'll come back here due to safety concerns. Updating stars to 1/5 until they can get their act together!!Overall, this is a must try restaurant. Would highly reccomend the smoked ribs and OMY fingers for sure. Reasonable price for great food! Delicious filipino american bbq! I went in fully decided in getting the all day breakfast option, but they didn't have this available at the time. I ended up ordering the 3 meats and 2 sides combo instead smoked ribs, chicken leg quarter, OMY fingers (shanghai lumpia , smoked beans, and garlic rice. For $18, this is a pretty good deal especially for the portion size. The smoked ribs were really delicious a perfect balance of tenderness but not fall off the bone mushy, with a sweet marinade. It was also a good portion.Chicken leg quarter moist and soft, however, the meat lacked a bit of extra flavor. Similar seasoning to the smoked ribs but more toned down.OMY fingers ABSOLUTELY DELECTABLE. Oftentimes, the filling inside shanghai lumpia is too dry and either too bland or too salty and lacking any other umami flavor but this is NOT what you find with their OMY fingers. The rich taste of the pork is the shining star, with the carrots and (celery? as the perfect supporting roles. The balance in the pork, carrot, and salt flavor is just excellent. This is a must try.The smoked beans and the garlic rice were probably the least spectacular items on the plate. With the garlic fried rice you dont find a rich fried garlic flavor. Instead, it tastes like white rice cooked in a rice cooker with some garlic powder and salt. It's not great but not bad either, just... eh.The smoked beans had an interesting flavor of maybe pork? and beany flavor. It was good but not great. Will come back to try more items on the menu!
I had the pull pork sandwich and baked bbq beans. Some of these other bbq places need to step up their game and take lessons from this place. The food was hot let me repeat hot and tasty.
I stop here often. Food is always great. Good amount for the price
Loved the pulled pork fries. Can't wait for the pig roast.
