E-yuan - Elizabethtown

Over the past 4 years, I have often been with E-yuan and never had a bad meal there. Stop the good wok!

I went to the restaurant and ordered vegetarian spring rolls, vegetable lo mein, and sweet and sour chicken. However, I received spring rolls with shrimp instead. I had to go back up to the counter and inform the staff of the mistake, as we have allergies to shellfish. The staff member seemed irritated and raised her voice at me for pointing out the error. I will not be returning to this restaurant, as they cannot get orders right.

Excellent takeout experience! Ordering was quick and simple, and everything we ordered was delicious. The only downside was having to specifically request side sauces that should have come with the dish. For example, the Crab Rangoons did not come with the red sweet sauce that is typically served with them unless requested separately. It seems like a ploy to increase profits by cutting costs. This reminds me of when McDonald's started charging for sauce packets unless requested, saving them money in the long run. It seems like a similar choice during these challenging pandemic times. Overall, I would give this restaurant 4 out of 5 stars.

I tried takeout for the first time at my new apartment and I was really impressed! The service was super fast, the prices were good, and the Sesame Chicken was excellent. It's not easy to find this dish prepared exactly how I like it, but this place got it right. I'm happy to have this restaurant just one block away from me.

I was hesitant at first, but the vegetarian orange chicken surpassed my expectations. Even my friend who usually eats meat raved about it, saying it was even better than traditional orange chicken. It was refreshing to try something new! The ambiance is more suited for take-out rather than dining in. We will definitely be coming back.
