Villa De Elciego

Simple pero muy práctico, en el centro de la ciudad.

We dropped in for a drink at the bar whilst wandering around the village. Not much else seemed to be open. Had 4 glasses of Marques de Riscal white wine a jamon croquettas for under €12. We spoke our worst Spanish the host was charming. An authentic experience.

We walked in without reservation and the owner had no problem letting us enjoy a meal there. The food was very good and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Definitely recommend going here. Good food, good choice of wines (obviously) and large choice of different dishes.

During a week in Spain, this restaurant served far the best food in my opinion. They have a very nice garden, that serves as a lounge as well. The wine selection is very good, too.
