Restaurant bewertenAs always, just an overall great experience. Food is always on point and just as I ordered it; good variety of drinks, staff is very friendly and the music choices are always fantastic. Will definitely visit again soon.
Every time we come into town we usually have to eat at Great American on George Dieter. Home town favorite we miss. It?s usually very good and a restaurant we enjoy eating at. However, we decided to order pick up. That was a major mistake. First it took over an hour to get the food from the time we placed the order over the phone till they actually handed me the food. Mind you this was a Thursday evening, not Friday, and not a busy Saturday night. How disappointing. Second, have you all ever tasted burnt baked potato? Well that?s basically what 3 members of my family received. Not sure who was manning the spuds here but a clear miss. Don?t get me started on the steak fries, the complete opposite way under cooked. The other food was meh. It pains me to score it this way but no choice. Great American management need to be aware and pay attention to details like they used with ?Great? customer service and exceptional food of the past. Hope this is a one off. Probably will take a break next time we are in town.
It used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I ordered the upper Sirloin Steak to go and instead got a thin veined skirt steak. Rock Steak is cheap and not tender at all. Management should admit that times are hard and prices are already increasing so that we can eat real top Sirloin. I don't know how they think they can fool us and calculate so much. I ate the food, but it wasn't worth the price. If you skip here, the burgers are still good.
Definitely pricy, but also definitely worth it for maybe one once a month dinner with family if you are looking for dinner. Also a large space and enough server around. Take time to come to your table after ordering, but remember that they cook to order. So, remember that and to order appetizers if you are really hungry there.
Nice area and location with lots of variety. This location looks like it has a remodel happening. The placement of the entrance is oddly set. The front of the restaurant facing the street is actually the take out curbside delivery door, so made finding the entrance a bit cumbersome. The decor and ambiance is a modern farmhouse bistro style inside with nice nuances, but in some areas looks a bit unfinished unlike the airway location. The service was good that was provided by the waiter but the food was a bit slow to come out. Even so the food was pretty delicious. I had the brisket moist with BBQ sauce and my family had burgers. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I noticed the manager walking around, he was very selective about who he spoke with and wasn't concerned with all patrons, definitely a shortfall on his end. The food was great but service and time management is where this restaurant has an opportunity to grow and improve. Other than that it's a place I would go again, but wouldn't miss it if I didn't either, nothing made this a memorable experience.
