Golden Buddha - El Paso

The delivery of our food took over an hour, despite being told it was on its way. We are truck drivers and gave specific instructions for the driver, but they were not passed on. The driver did not speak English. We ordered Spicy Garlic Chicken and Spicy Scallion Chicken, but were disappointed. The garlic chicken had a strange burnt taste and lacked spice, while the scallion chicken was fried and not as described on the menu. The only decent dish was the spring egg rolls. After reading other reviews, it seems this restaurant is not run by Asians, but by Mexican/American staff, which may explain why the food does not taste authentic. This is the worst Chinese restaurant we have ever been to and we do not recommend it. It deserves 0 stars.

The food is expertly cooked with stunning presentation. The service is excellent and the prices are fair.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and affordable. Although the portions have decreased slightly, it is still a great place to eat. I will definitely return, especially for lunch if I am in the area. The food is served quickly and is just as tasty.

All the food was tasty but what I really liked about this restaurant is that the food is not salty. It doesn't taste like msg! Plus I was so surprised and thankful that they delivered our food all the way down to Central! Our food was nice and warm they gave us all the sauces,chopsticks, napkins; they were on to every detail and I appreciate that! The to go containers are biodegradable, which is good news for the environment as opposed to all the styrofoam inevitably used by other restaurants.
