Restaurant bewertenCan't always tell if they are open or not dark dinghy windows might be authentic and give charm but you can't see inside to see if they are open and no clear signs. Burgers are wonderful but be warned no prices on the menus and it the home of the $20 dollar burger love the food but can't afford it often.
Family stopped by after visiting Goose Island State Park for the solar eclipse. My wife and I shared the 16oz chicken fried steak, and my kids ate one of their many burgers. I can say that the chicken fried steak was one of the best I have ever eaten. I followed my delicious meal with deep fried bacon with a side of maple syrup and deep fried nutter butters. All though both were amazing, the homemade peach cobbler will have me stopping by Emil's the next time I'm passing through.
Hi I'm Partia and I love this place I wish them many more years of
Loved everything about the place!! The food! Good old fashioned burgers for sure. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with a jalapeño bun. It was exactly what you expect from a burger full of flavor. The guys ordered the chicken fried steak and you have options on the sizes you get one got a 10oz and the other was a 16 oz. Neither could finish it. I wished I had snapped a picture before they ate. I wouldn’t call it a cheap place to eat but definitely worth every penny. Oh, and I had an orange dreamcicle milk shake, yum!
Loved it, a quality place to stop and get a good quick meal. I love finding places like Emil's Old Fashion Burger over being subject to eating fast food.Try their milkshake!
