I don't have a lot of experience with Indian food, so Zaika was a delight! Their buffet has a variety of foods, both hot and cold.

I ate for the first time at Zaikas Bistro. It was a work get together. Service was good. Food was okay. The buffet was $23.00. Good price for the selection. It is a nice looking restaurant with a nice clean buffet. They kept it well stocked and everything was hot and fresh. The food was good, but not oh wow great. I don't think this is a place I will frequent. There are better Indian restaurants in the city. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I came here with friends who eat much indian food and so they recommended a try since it is newer than most of the others we've been too. The food on the buffet was definitely spicier than what I'm used to getting. This is good for me but was less good for one of my friends with us. He had to pick the milder items for his second plate, whereas I went back for more of the spicy dishes. I even took some of the salads which I typically don't leave room for. The desserts had those honey based funnel cake things but was out of the "Indian timbit" as they called it. The rest of the desserts were typical. The custard felt like it was mixed up with the dried top when it's exposed to air for too long. That was my only negative thing to say about the whole meal. The rest was wonderful.
