Restaurant bewertenWent for a quick bite and drink before going to the Princess for a movie. We didn't have much time so ordered the nachos and pretzels. Beer was reasonably priced. The nachos for two was huge and loaded with toppings. Very good, my friend took the pretzels to go since we were in a hurry. Glad I stopped in for a bite.<br/ <br/ <br/ Update December 31st Staff was not very attentive. They hung out at the bar talking instead of attending to us.
When we got here on a Sunday night and the place was completely dead... we ordered the Mac and cheese and I ordered the spinach dip to start. Honestly, I thought the food was okay. Nothing too great. The server informed me that the restaurant was undergoing a big change in management, etc. I'd be quite willing to have another go at this place and see what they come up with to bring it back. What I did really like about this place was the atmosphere. I feel like this is a great place to grab a bite to eat and a few drinks with friends after a grueling day at work.
Stopped for drinks tonight's. Martinis, and beer flights for the tables. Sat outside on the patio on a great Alberta weather night. Service is great.
Recently visited to try their new menu. The food was great. Well thought out and well executed. It's pub food with a creative twist. While the food is great, I do find the beer menu to be a little pricey. That said, I'm sure being a locally owned business on whyte ave requires the prices they set. Would definitely come more often if the beer was a little cheaper.
I visited The Pourhouse for the first time and had a great experience! Despite some mixed reviews in the past, my Friday night visit was definitely positive.
