Restaurant bewertenI went to this restaurant for a work event. I ordered the rib eye medium rare. It came well, it was dry, I was not happy. But I wasn't paying and there were 20 or so of us so I didn't want to send back in front of everybody. Would not go there again and would not recommend to others. Very pricey for poor service and food.
I was surprised you could get a healthy breakfast made quickly. Sure you also can go as indulgent as you want but the fresh avocado is a nice touch.
If you want a decent plate of food at a reasonable price and don't care how classy the place is then this isn't bad. I had a Clubhouse sandwich which was good. Fries were on the soggy side. Service was as expected at Ricky's ... acceptable. Our food was ready in a reasonable time. Low end lunch with above quality food (for a low end diner).
All I wanted was a simple breakfast bowl with the hollandaise on the side and dry toast. Nope. Too complicated, I guess. I had to take the bowl back to the kitchen myself (and interrupt the server as she was checking her phone messages). So she brought back the bowl, with the same buttered toast, and said 'the cook scraped off most of the hollandaise, is that ok'? No, it's not ok. I refused the breakfast and went to Denny's. I'll maybe go back to Ricky's Edmonton Centre again when they've got their serving staff upgraded to ... acceptable.
The food is nothing special. It is what it is, consistent quality even if somewhat boring. However, the staff here is so friendly, they make this franchise just that little bit special.
